In a joint effort with a University in Germany, Babor Cosmetics has developed an extremely gentle process that uses wine yeasts. The process includes removing as much Glutathione as possible from the yeast.

Why Glutathione? Glutathione is the first radical-trapping agent which is revived often within the body by enzymes in the epidermis. The process is so complex and gentle that it neither damages nor heats the cells in the yeast—this allows for 60% more glutathione to be removed.

As a result, they were able to invent the “Selection” product line. Selection is a deluxe skin care line that focuses on restoring the skin’s natural renewal process and methods of defense. Also, these products are so gentle they can be used on any individual of any age.
