1. You bathe in hot water
StyleList reported that this is one of the biggest no-nos when it comes to maintaining radiant, hydrated skin. Hot water can strip your skin of much-needed moisture.
2. You aren’t protecting your skin
The Mayo Clinic stated that, ideally, you should be wearing lotion with SPF to protect your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays. The sun can be a big reason why your skin dries out, especially in the summer.
3. Your soap is too harsh
If you have sensitive skin and you aren’t using products to cater to it, you could be doing more harm than good. Soaps that are full of fragrances and other additives can dry your skin out, and you might not even realize it!
