Glee star talks about his off-camera styleFew shows on television right now are hotter than Glee. The musical comedy won three Golden Globe awards earlier this month and has attracted a slew of famous guest stars, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Neil Patrick Harris and John Stamos.

Recently, the show welcomed a new cast member, Darren Criss, who plays Blaine, an openly gay student at a rival high school. Given Glee's immense success, it's not surprising that Criss is starting to get noticed on the street.

However, Criss may not get recognized as often as one may think, and it's partly due to his beauty routine.

"[On the street] I look very different from my character – he has slicked-back hair, while I have really curly hair," Criss told Interview magazine. "And I never shave. I'm kind of a bum."

Whether a guy wants to play up his natural curls or prefers smoother strands, Jack Black offers a number of products perfect for maintaining any 'do. Jack Black Sleek Finish Texture Cream helps control unruly locks, while the brand's High Definition Hair Pomade provides separation and texture.

Pete Wentz sports natural curlsWhile beauty blogs are often abuzz due to Ashley Simpson's ever-changing hairstyles – she recently hacked off her long, auburn-colored locks for a blonde, gamine cut – it seems that her husband has stolen her tress-centered spotlight. Pete Wentz recently made headlines when he stepped out sporting a natural, relatively un-styled 'do.

Wentz is known for his stick-straight strands, but attended a press event in Detroit rocking curls. This may be surprising to many people who thought his hair was naturally straight.

"Here's the thing about hair – I think most people think that I have Lego hair, like I can just take it on and off in one piece, and that's not quite the case – although pretty close," he told People magazine in 2008. "I refer to this [phenomenon] as Lego hair, when people think that about me."

Of course, men who want to style their hair can opt for formulas specifically designed for their locks. Jack Black offers a plethora of products, such as Sleek Finish Texture Cream and High Definition Hair Pomade, that are lightweight and fragrance-free, so men won't look (or smell) like they spent hours on their hair – even if they did!

Tips to keep a November beard looking great

Tips to keep a November beard looking greatOctober is almost over and for many men across the country, that means one thing – the beginning of Novembeard. For those unfamiliar with the month-long tradition, it is merely a designated period when men agree not to shave for 30 days.

However, since Thanksgiving, a time when many guys travel home to see loved ones, falls toward the end of the month, those participating in the beard-growing challenge may look especially scruffy

Instead of preparing for questions from distant relatives about your appearance – or worse, forgoing Novembeard – men can use a few products to help maintain their facial hair.

While shaving or trimming of any kind is frowned upon, men can keep their faces looking great by using a shampoo, like L’Occitane Cade Shower Gel for Body and Hair, to clean their beards as often as they wash the hair on their heads. Anthony Logistics Every Day Conditioner is formulated to moisturize and protect skin, and soften facial hair.

Additionally, men should use a moisturizer, such as Jack Black Double Duty Face Moisturizer SPF 20, to make sure the skin underneath the beard is well-conditioned, to reduce the itchiness that scruff can lead to.
