But lately, some celebs have been talking about the signature scents they'll be sporting on their big days, and it has us thinking – what kind of perfume should you spritz on before you say "I do?"
Kim Kardashian is getting married to Kris Humphries later this year, and the starlet has created a special scent to commemorate the occasion. It's called "Love," and Kim made 1,000 crystal-encrusted bottles – one for herself, 200 for her bridal shower guests and 799 that are for sale for $100 each, according to Cosmopolitan magazine. The source reports that the fragrance has notes of red currant, musk and jasmine and, like Kim herself, is both sultry and sweet.
The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, also wore a favorite fragrance when she exchanged vows with Prince William – White Gardenia Petals by Illuminum. Like everything else Kate touches, the scent flew off the shelves and has been sold out for months, Cosmo says.
