Keeping warm is a priority in winter, which puts the state of your tresses on the back burner. No matter how much time you spend prepping in the morning, the wrong hat can wreak havoc on your hair and leave you looking like a frizzy maniac by the time you get to work. Luckily, Glamour magazine's beauty blog has a few hats to recommend that won't wreck your style.
1. Knitted berets. Even after using Leonor Greyl – Bain Volumateur Aux Algues (For fine or limp hair) to plump up your strands, a knitted beret perched on your head won't crush curls and kill volume.
2. A satin-lined hat. No need to worry about any matting with a silky barrier in between your hat and your head. Try a cloche or a fedora, both of which are trending right now.
3. A newsboy cap. A cute style in a heavy fabric will look best with the perfect blowout. Use Hamadi – Shea Spray for added shine and be sure that your hat isn't too tight – if you can't get a finger in between your head and the hat, you could get an ugly crease.
