Curling your hair can take a lot of work. Between velcro rollers, hot rollers and curling irons, a bit of wave is hard to come by, especially for women with straight hair that refuses to hold a curl. However, there's a new trend surfacing lately that's a lot easier to pull off – blowouts with slightly wavy ends.
According to Glamour Magazine's beauty blog, the look has been showing up on the likes of Kate Middleton, Kate Bosworth and Jessica Alba. The style features fairly straight hair that's got a hint of curl at the ends, giving a bouncy, touchable look that's perfect for any occasion.
To get it yourself, first use a volumizing shampoo like Leonor Greyl – Bain Volumateur Aux Algues. When you apply conditioner afterwards, just focus on the ends of your hair, otherwise your roots might get weighed down and end up looking flat.
Give yourself a blowout, flipping your head upside down to create volume, then finish with a blast of cool air to seal your hair's cuticle and lock in moisture and shine. Use a curling iron to curl the bottom third of your hair, then use your fingers to comb through and separate strands. Finish with a bit of Leonor Greyl – Laque Souple Gentle Hold Hair Spray and you're done!
