Styling tips for a stick-straight up-doPerhaps it's been years since you've heated up your straightening iron, but apparently, super-straight hair is in again.

Models at the Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 Fashion Week sauntered down the catwalk with the sleekest, straightest pony tails you can imagine, or what hairstylist Guido Palau called "sleek dominatrix-inducing ponytails," SyleList.com reports.

According to the news source, Palau fashioned models' locks using a flatiron and a bit of spritzer product to give hair some extra shine.

To pull off this look, StyleList recommends adding some protective gel to hair prior to blowdrying. Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelle is ideal for protecting, volumizing and detangling while blowdrying. Slick hair back into a high ponytail using a comb to smooth out any kinks, wrap a piece of hair around the elastic and pin it into place.

To finish, straighten the ponytail and spray Hamadi Shea Spray all over your tresses. This frizz-eliminating product will keep you guarded against dull-looking hair.
