Soft, feathery lashes are easier to create than you think!Spidery lashes are meant to be thick and dramatic, which means they don’t work for all occasions – especially those that are work-related. If you’re on the hunt for a feathery, soft look that’s perfect for the daytime, Glamour Magazine’s beauty blog has a great trick that will help you achieve lash perfection.

When applying a mascara like Blinc – Mascara, the trick is to apply most of the product to the roots of your lashes – not the tips. After the first coat, use a fine lash comb to separate each eyelash before applying a second coat and combing through them again. You should notice that the tips of your lashes are a lot thinner than usual.

In combination with the mascara, use a brown shade of eyeshadow, like BABOR – Eye Shadow in Terra, to shade in the crease of your eyes. The wash of color will provide the perfect backdrop to complement your lashes and make the effect soft and hazy. It’s a good idea to keep the rest of your face minimal, so just use a peachy-pink blush and a hint of pink lip gloss.
