Greenish gold eyeshadow can make blue eyes pop!Usually, gals with blue eyes tend to look best when they're wearing brown eyeshadow. It's because brown and orange are opposite from blue and greens on the color wheel, making them complementary colors that help each other stand out. However, Glamour Magazine's beauty blog recently reported that Victoria's Secret model Doutzen Kroes showed up at the Victoria's Secret What Is Sexy party wearing an unexpected shade that achieved the same pop.

So what shade was it? A shimmery greenish gold, like you'd get with Youngblood – Crushed Mineral Eyeshadow in Peridot or Sage. The color, added with a hint of lighter shimmer at her inner corners, made her soft blue eyes really stand out.

She also relied on plenty of mascara and a peachy-pink blush like Jane Iredale – PurePressed Blush in Warm Apricot. To keep her eyes the center of attention, she kept her lips neutral with a subtly shiny pink lip gloss. Overall, it was definitely a look worth copying if you happen to have blue eyes.
