Applying eye makeup that's suitable for an elegant daytime eventWhile many women may be comfortable crafting an elegant look for a swanky, nighttime affair, it may be a bit trickier to apply eye makeup for a daytime event, such as a wedding or luncheon, as daylight may make dark makeup appear garish or too formal.

Instead of applying a colorful eyeshadow, opt for simple, neutral tones – ladies with pale skin can use a shimmery bone shade while women with darker complexions may prefer a warmer banana hue, Glamour.com reports.

“This base color neutralizes the skin around the eyes to enhance their beauty and gives the whole eye area lift and vibrancy without looking too noticeable,” wedding makeup artist Jessica Liebeskind told the website.

To enhance your lash line, avoid black liner, which may appear too harsh in bright sunshine. Instead, the news source suggests donning a brown or grey formula, and applying the product with a brush for a softer, romantic look.

Too Faced offers two different eye makeup palettes, the Natural Eye Kit and the Naked Eye Kit, which each offer a range of neutral colored powders that work as shadow and liner, and are perfect for subtly enhancing your eyes.ADNFCR-3538-ID-19928466-ADNFCR
