Contoured makeup may be one of fall's biggest trendsWith each new season comes a slew of cosmetic trends. According to StyleList.com, one of this fall’s biggest trends is sculpted, neutral makeup.

“It’s a look that is luxurious in the sense that it is very rich in textures and in soft nuances,” industry expert Luc Bouchard told the news source.

While the idea of brushing on various products to achieve flawless contouring may seem intimidating, Bouchard shared a few tips that will make applying makeup a lot easier.

“All you have to do is apply the contour right under the [cheekbone] and blend it as to hug the bone,” the makeup expert told the website.

To create contours, use a foundation that is a bit darker than your skin tone. To make blending easier, he recommends creamy formulas as opposed to powder, and applying a little at a time until you achieve the desired intensity.

However, women should remember to highlight certain areas as well, he adds. Dust an iridescent loose powder on the top of your cheekbones, in the center of your eyelid and in the inner corners of your eyes to soften the look and brighten your face.

To flawlessly apply sculpted makeup, it is paramount that you use the right brushes. Jane Iredale Professional Brush Set includes 16 brushes that will help to perfect this – and many other – looks.ADNFCR-3538-ID-19931938-ADNFCR
