If you haven't decided on a festive makeup look for New Year's Eve yet, don't worry. You don't have to learn how to master the art of the cat eye swoop or perfect your eyeliner to make a stunning appearance that night. All it takes are some smokey eyeshadows and a couple of jewels.
Make up your face as usual, using plenty of highlighter or illuminator to give yourself a healthy glow. Use a black eyeliner pencil to line the upper and lower rims of your eyes, then create a thin line above your lash line. Use a Q-tip to smudge it up, then use plenty of gray or black eyeshadow to create depth on your lids. Jane Iredale – PurePressed Eye Shadow has plenty of options.
Next, buy a couple of jewels from your local craft store, then stock up on some lash glue. Once your eyeshadow and liner is in place, use a pair of tweezers to dip the jewels in the glue and stick them to your lids. Focus on the inner or outer corners for the most dazzling effect.
Finish off with a mascara like Too Faced – Lash Injection, then be ready to turn more than a few heads.

Tinted mriutsoiser, cheek stain or cream blush like Stila’s convertibles or Napoleon Perdis’ cheek stain, gloss and mascara. That’s all I wore for most of my teens, till I was about 17!
