Model Hannah Holman has more than just insanely good looks up her sleeve – it turns out she actually has a little help from her makeup bag.
"On a normal day, I'll just go barefaced with some mascara on my lashes," Holman told ELLE.com. "But when I go out to an event or party, I like to wear a bold lip. I think it really adds to an outfit – even the slightest bit of color pops. My favorite shades are maroons and reds by Tom Ford…they aren't too thick and stay on all day long – they don't smear or wipe off."
For an eye-popping pout, keep an eye out for lipsticks in vibrant hues of fire engine red, tangerine, orchid pink and even purplish-mauve.
Of course, the key to pulling off a vivacious lip is keeping the rest of your makeup minimal – a coat or two of mascara, a light-colored eye shadow and perhaps skipping the liner are good choices in terms of completing this look.
