The nail art trend is still going strong, and women everywhere are finding new and exciting ways to decorate their manicures. However, getting creative starts to become a problem when you realize that it involves applying tiny details to your writing hand with your non-writing hand. Luckily, there are plenty of easier routes – one of which involves straws.
This idea, featured on Beautylish.com, is probably one of the easiest ways you can achieve nail art perfection without stressing over your skills or enlisting the help of a friend. All you'll need is a couple of nail polish colors from Lippmann Collection – Nail Lacquers, a straw for each color you want the dots to be, a base coat and a top coat like Lippmann Collection – On A Clear Day Top Coat.
Begin by painting your nails with the base coat, then choosing a color for the background of your nails. White might be nice, but any hue will do. Paint on two coats, then let them dry completely. Now pick one of your dot colors and make a little puddle on a paper plate. Dip in the straw, then use it to make circular shapes on your nails – they don't have to be perfect. Switch colors and straws so you have a cool design, then apply top coat. Awesome!
