No matter what your age may be, chances are you wouldn't mind looking a year or two younger. If that's the case, here are a couple of ways you can make sure that your makeup takes off a few years, courtesy of Allure magazine.
1. Don't go overboard. Using too much makeup can make you appear older – especially with products like foundation and concealer. Instead of slathering it on, only use the product where you need it. You want your skin to be able to shine through, not be totally covered. Try Bioelements – Sheer Makeup with Calcium and Lipoic Acid.
2. Avoid using powders. These can settle into your fine lines, making them appear more prominent. Use liquid or cream makeup instead, and opt for products with a hint of illumination, like Nuxe – Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Usage Dry Oil Golden Shimmer (100 ml).
3. Make your eyes appear bigger and brighter by curling your lashes and using a highlighter on the inner corners of your eyes and underneath your eyebrows. A very dark mascara will make the whites of your eyes look whiter, so choose a deep black.
