Fall is when lots of ladies start wearing vampy colors on their nails, like dark crimson, black and navy blue. But if you're not one for dramatics, you may want to go for something a little less noticeable but equally chic.
One color to consider is the "mochaccino" shade featured by Glamour magazine's beauty blog. It's a soft brown polish that's reminiscent of the "greige" hue that was so popular previously, but it's even more wearable. The color goes with practically everything and is a reliable neutral. It fits in with fall's darker colors without going over the top, and it's totally fresh.
Something like Lippmann Collection – Nail Lacquers in No More Drama or Satin Doll would work perfectly, and a base coat like Nailtini – Mixer Nail Base Color would allow you to go darker or lighter depending on your mood. You may even want to go a bit more creative by adding a French tip to your mochaccino nails, which would be a new take on the standard pinkish color usually associated with the style.
