Normally, you wouldn't think that winter is the ideal time to try out bold new shades of neon makeup. That's usually more of a summer thing. However, makeup artist Bobbi Brown has just released a collection that's full of bright neons paired with transparent nude colors that are super fresh for winter.
According to Glamour magazine's beauty blog, the new collection is full of oranges, reds, purples, pinks and blues that are anchored by nude lipsticks, eyeshadows and eyeliners. The idea is to pick one feature to play up with neon, then make the rest of your face totally neutral. It looks great paired with hydrated skin, shiny hair and comfy knit sweaters!
Try your take on the trend by pairing a bold eyeshadow like Too Faced – Eye Shadow Duo in Lucky Charms with a completely nude lipstick, such as BORGHESE – B Moisture Advanced Care Lipcolour in Bronzino. Once you've mastered that, switch it up with nude eyeshadow and a bright lip color that pops.
