Universally-flattering is an adjective that's not often used when it comes to makeup, but Ashlee Simpson recently proved that there's one eyeshadow shade worthy of the description. According to Glamour Magazine's beauty blog, the copper-toned eyeshadow that the star rocked in Beverly Hills at the Samsung Galaxy III party is one of the most wearable colors ever created.
Copper shadow not only looks great as a makeup look, but it helps showcase the color of your eyes as well. It enhances your peepers without detracting attention – which is what all makeup should do! Fortunately, it's super easy to steal Ashlee's look for yourself.
Start by using a rust-colored shadow across your entire eyelids, then blending it into the crease. It should extend a bit past your creases, especially toward the outer corners of your eyes. Follow up by using a shimmery copper shadow, like Too Faced – Single Eye Shadow in Socialite, above your upper lash lines and below your lower ones.
