Try out some hot new colors on your nails this spring.Spring is here, which means it’s time to stuff those ratty old gloves and mittens into some half-forgotten drawer and start celebrating your hands again! In addition to plenty of lotions and creams that can restore your dry hands after the long winter, why not celebrate the changing seasons with a brand new shade of nail polish? Spring is the perfect time to break out some bright colors that are sure to complement any outfit.

Pastels are always hot for spring, and one color that’s sure to turn all your friends green with envy is lavender. This soft purple is the perfect way to ring in spring, because it’ll match the blossoms that are just starting to bloom. Plus, purple is girly without being overly feminine, so this color will work just as well in the office as it will for a day at the beach. Lavender is a calming shade that’s sure to put you in a relaxed, content mood every time you glance at your fingertips.

Pink is always a spring classic, so why not shake things up by going for orange instead? Demure shades of orange – like the color of warm butter or a melting Orangesicle – are the perfect complement to every spring look. With nails that look like they’re covered in liquid sunshine, how could you not be cheerful?

An unexpected spring shade? Electric blue. Celebrate the clear skies and clearer ocean water with a bold and bright shade of blue that recalls everything that’s great about lying on your back and spotting shapes in the clouds on a warm spring day.
