Still haven't managed to find a reliable method for making the perfect cat eye with your liquid eyeliners? Getting an even line that's the same on each eye is tough, but it's not impossible. With this simple trick from The Beauty Department, you won't have to spend valuable time in the morning trying to perfect your look!
All you'll need are a pair of scissors, a business card or index card and a pencil. Hold the card up to your eye, just above your lash line. Use the pencil to mark where you'd like the eyeliner to begin and where you'd like it to end past the outer corner of your eye.
Now draw the shape you're looking for on the bottom of the card, using the marks you just made for reference. Go for a smooth swooped line that's a medium thickness.
Take your scissors and carefully cut out the shape you drew. Now you're ready to apply your eyeliner!
Hold the card at your lash line again with the cutout situated on the bottom. Then use a liquid eyeliner like Jane Iredale – Liquid Eye Liner (Black/Brown) to fill in the shape. Easy!
