There's more than one way to get model-worthy lashesIf you've ever wondered how models appear flawless, rest assured – your makeup would look just as amazing if you had a team of professionals styling you up too.

That being said, professionals do have a trick or two up their sleeves that everyday women like us can use to achieve similarly striking results. The makeup artists in charge of styling the models for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition used individual fake lashes to create full, luscious fringe.

"This year we did false lashes, which we never do," makeup artist Tracy Murphy told InStyle.com. To keep them looking subtle, Murphy placed individual fake lashes near the outer corners of the eyes to create a cat-eyed appearance.

Ladies who are normally timid when it comes to getting out the falsies might feel more at home using this technique, which creates a comfortable and classy middle ground between too much lash drama and not nearly enough.

Use Jane Iredale Professional Faux Lashes for convenient individual lash applications that come in two different length options.
