Ah, summertime – an occasion for balmy outdoor nights, the rotation of your entire collection of sundresses and, as always, flaunting the brightest shades of lipstick.
While classic red will forever and always be an excellent go-to choice, here are a few alternative ways to spice up your smile over the next couple of months.
Use a stain. Much more matte and natural-looking than a gloss yet packing a sort of long-lasting color that many lipsticks can't rival, a stain will turn your mouth a great shade of crimson (or honeysuckle, or tangerine) while promising to stick with you no matter how many rounds you order at the bar.
Use high-definition gloss to create a glossy, reflective sheen.
Use a quirky, unexpected shade – tangerine, lavender and cabernet are all totally called for.
