Turquoise-colored eye makeup can be worn by all skin tonesAccording to StyleList.com, a multitude of Hollywood starlets are trying out a new, bold look – turquoise-colored lids. Celebrities like Jessica Alba and Amber Riley were recently snapped wearing eye makeup in this traffic-stopping shade.

“Turquoise makeup is a huge summer trend because it has a sexy tropical feel,” makeup artist Mathew Nigara told the news source. While this hue may not be for the faint of heart, it can be rocked by daring women of all skin tones.

No stranger to bright colors, Gwen Stefani recently painted her lids with a turquoise shadow. Women with a similar, fair complexion should opt for a powder with a teal base, makeup artist Mathew Nigara told the news source.

“[The color] can be whimsical and fun, [and] look incredible on tanned, shimmering skin,” Nigara added, so ladies with a medium skin tone should look for a golden-based turquoise, and dust their face with a highlighter that boasts a subtle golden shimmer.

Women with a dark complexion, however, can emphasize their eyes by pairing turquoise with accents of black and gold.

Regardless of skin tone, ladies who try out this bold trend should remember to keep the rest of their makeup minimal – simply accentuate your stare with a few coats of black mascara and paint your pout with a bit of clear or neutral-colored lip gloss.ADNFCR-3538-ID-19915591-ADNFCR
