Use the same liner for two different looksWhile many women opt to add a bit of color to their complexion with a touch of blush, it can be tricky to find your perfect color. But figuring out which hue suits you best may be in your best interest.

“Blush is the one beauty product that looks great at every age and on any complexion,” makeup artist Pat McGrath told Allure magazine. “With blush, the skin looks clearer and the eyes more sparkling, so you can get away with wearing less makeup.”

When selecting a blush, use your natural skin tone as a guide to find your perfect cheek color. According to the publication, if you have fair skin, a light pink or mauve will look most natural. Bright shades will look beautiful as well, as long as they are blended well and applied bit by bit, to avoid an overload of color.

Those with a medium complexion should opt for warm hues such as peach, brick and russet. If you have dark skin, you should pay attention to the blush’s formula (as well as its color) and select a product that isn’t too opaque.

“Many colors appear ashy on dark skin, but transparent blushes get around that,” makeup artist Dick Page told the news source. A sheer berry, red or wine-colored blush, such as Youngblood Crushed Mineral Blush in Cabernet, will help create a subtle, natural looking glow.ADNFCR-3538-ID-19908374-ADNFCR
