Use two colors to create one great lookWhile women often stick to pigments in the same color family when applying eye makeup, one of young Hollywood’s most glamorous gals are proving that using two shades can create one phenomenal look.

Freida Pinto appeared at a screening of her new film, Miral, in the Hamptons rocking two-toned eye makeup that was as flattering as it was subtle. Pinto covered her lids in a silvery-gray shadow that complemented her warm brown eyes, and then dusted a tawny pigment above her crease. She finished her look with black liner and mascara.

While some may think that these contradictory colors would compete with one another, they actually worked surprisingly well together – the tawny shadow added warmth and subtle definition to Pinto’s eyes, and the silver powder made her bright peepers pop.

When rocking this two-toned trend, women should take a cue from Pinto and choose a black or brown liner and mascara, as products of a different, more pronounced hue can throw off the beautiful balance created by the two shades of shadow.

Too Faced Eye Shadow Duo boasts two unique shades in one compact, ideal for a woman embracing the two-toned look.
