As temperatures slowly inch up and we receive a much-needed boost for our winter-weary morale, our attention invariably turns to the next hottest thing. So what's on the menu for spring this year?
According to Marie Claire, this season is sure to be filled with lots of soft pinks and enticing femme couture, replete with rosy shadows, blushes and porcelain doll winks.
"Matte mauve-y pink shadow applied to the upper and lower lids created a fanciful focal point to this eye-catching look. Several coats of black mascara beefed up wispy lashes, while bleached-out brows and barely-there lips gave way to beyond-flawless, subtly highlighted skin," reports the news source.
To stay on-trend, you can combine or focus on just your lids, cheeks or eyes. Combining pink shadow with retro winged eyeliner can be an award-winning look, but either of these maneuvers would work just fine on their own. For an especially fresh-faced look, amp up the dewiness factor of your skin with lots of moisturizer and essential oils, layer on the pink blush and keep the rest of your makeup minimal.
