Every once in a while, glammed-up celebs come face-to-face with readers to remind us all that hey, no one's perfect – and if you had a team of expert estheticians following you around, you'd probably look every bit as flawless as they do.
That being said, there is something to be learned from the skin care tricks of the pros, even if you can't afford to indulge in the industry's cutting edge beauty technology.
"The newer trend is actually to take care of your skin," Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr. Susan Evans told Glamour.com. "They're avoiding tanning booths, making sunscreen a part of their routine and using products with vitamins A, C and E."
Many stars also look to products that contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid for zapping zits on the go, while some cut back their dairy consumption for a couple weeks before each photoshoot. Regular exfoliation is also key, as is lots of moisturizer (even if you can't afford a fancy oxygen treatment like some A-listers), the news source reports.
Look for products rich in antioxidants and facial cleansers that contain glycerin for a rich, glowing complexion.
