If you look good, you will feel better about yourself and have a more enjoyable time. Here are some great tips on looking flawless on Christmas morning.

Apply Liquid Highlighter to Your Skin

If you really want a beautiful glow on Christmas morning, you should apply liquid highlighter to your skin. It will help your complexion look healthy and gorgeous. Just put two to three drops of liquid highlighter in your foundation and apply it to your face.

Cover Up Under Eye Circles With Concealer

Under eye circles can really make you look worn out. If you notice circles under your eyes, you should cover them up with concealer. Just dip a concealer brush in cream concealer and apply it directly under your eyes.

Wear a Pigmented Blush

Your skin tone can get pretty pale in the wintertime and a good blush can help brighten it up. If you apply a pigmented peach or pink blush along your cheekbones, your complexion will look a lot better. Use a blush brush to carefully sweep the blush across your cheekbones.

It will brighten up your complexion and will look great in photos. If you want your lips to shine, apply some clear lip gloss on top of the lipstick.

Taking a little extra time in the morning to do your makeup can help you look great on Christmas. If you follow these very helpful tips, you will look and feel great on Christmas morning.

Holiday Makeup Looks That Wow!
The holiday season is near and the air will soon be filled with frost, fun, and dancing sugar plums. Nothing is better than wearing oversized sweaters and roasting chestnuts on an open fire, warming yourself inside from the chilly weather. A new season means a new style, so what better way to celebrate than with the perfect makeup looks of the year! Are you the belle of the ball or a jingle bell rock and roll girl? These two makeup styles cover up your frosty cheeks and bring out your inner holiday spirit!

Sophisticated and Seasonal

First, use your favorite primer and foundation as desired. Then, use Too Faced’s La Belle Caroousel in the color named Frost and lightly brush just under the arch of your eyebrow. This gives your brow a nice highlight. Next, use the eyeshadow color Tin Soldier on the ends of your eyelids to better define your eye shape. Then, brush the color Santa’s Boots in the crease and on the edge of your eyelids for a smokey chimney feel. Use your desired mascara to finish it off. If you wish, use Rilastil’s Terra Duo Bronzing Powder. It not only gives your cheekbones definition, but it emphasizes your unique face shape. This completes your first look.

Sassy and Sweet

The next style gives you a bit more of a pop! Once again, use your best primer and foundation. Cover your entire eyelid in Too Faced’s eyeshadow color Frost. Brush the color Christmas Tree on the outer side of your eyelid. Then, use a Beautyblender and slowly and carefully blend the green color into the white. This should create a nice gradient that draws the attention right to your beautiful eyes. Finish the eyes with mascara to further accentuate your look. Use Too Faced’s Under the Mistletoe lipstick in the color Marshmallow Bunny to add shimmer and sparkle to your completed makeup style. Your lips will be irresistible to anyone near a branch of mistletoe. Finally, use Lippmann nail polish in red to complete your fabulous makeup with a seasonal color scheme.

‘Tis The Season for Sassy Makeup!

These looks are ideal for any occasion such as sleigh rides, parties, building a snowman, and decorating your home. All the products mentioned above are available online at May your holidays be magical!

Shine at all of your holiday parties

Shine at all of your holiday parties

Your social calendar is looking stuffed – and while you couldn’t be more excited about all the upcoming soirées, you’re also already strategizing your look. After all, with the twinkling holiday lights, festive decor and glitzy party dresses, it’s not easy to stand out. However, with a touch of the right makeup, you’re bound to light up the room.

Every bash has a different mood, so they require varied makeup products, tricks and tactics. Here’s how to create a flawless look for all your upcoming affairs:

The family party
As you gather around the fireplace with loved ones, singing carols and exchanging memories from years past, you’ll surely be all aglow, and your makeup should reflect the same warmth. For a bright-eyed look, dab some highlighter with light-reflecting particles just at the inner corners of your eyes. Your look wouldn’t be complete without that just-in-from-the-cold fresh-faced flush, so sweep a light layer of rosy pigment onto the apples of your cheeks. Go for a sheer lip color that simply enhances the natural color of your pout.

The office party
The key at the company party is to look sophisticated and polished but still approachable, meaning a bold red lip and elegant golden eyes. If you have cool undertones in your skin, reach for a blue-based red like a rich berry. Warmer complexions can rock a brick red or a shade that errs on the orangey side. Next, rub a gold cream eyeshadow onto your lids and use a blending brush to distribute the pigment until your eyes are glimmering just the right gilded hue. You can also apply a warm medium brown shadow in the crease for some added allure.

The girlfriends party
Girls just want to have fun, so why not embrace some seasonally festive shimmer for a shindig at your BFF’s? Whether or not it’s snowing outside, sparkling silver eyeshadow promises a winter wonderland appeal. Dust a pale slate gray loose powder onto your lids and then to further illuminate your eyes, apply highlighter along the brow-bone. Lining your upper lash line with a charcoal pencil will give you subtle definition, while a layer of sleek black liquid liner will make your eyes pop more dramatically. To finish the look, sweep two layers of volumizing mascara onto your upper lashes and apply a neutral lip gloss, which will give your pout a glossy sheen but won’t compete with your glittery eyes.

Look dazzling at Thanksgiving dinner

Look dazzling at Thanksgiving dinner

Thanksgiving is all about gathering with your loved ones, celebrating what you’re grateful for and perhaps making a few new memories. Since you’ll be seeing family members that you may not get to visit with very often, you’ll want to look your best.

Naturally, you’ll be picking out a festive and fashion-forward ensemble, but you can’t forget your makeup for this occasion if you really want to stand out. Whether you’re sporting a casual outfit this Thanksgiving or getting all decked out, here are some beauty tips that will ensure your look is just as memorable as the meal:

Gilded glow
Missing that golden glow you had during the summer? This is the perfect occasion to bring that radiance back to your complexion. Illuminated by the flickering candlelight at the dinner table, your face will look fetching. To get this effect, dab your brush in the Too Faced Endless Summer 16 Hour Long-Wear Bronzer and sweep it from your temples down your cheekbone, and then back along your jawline. If you want a little more warmth, follow with the Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo by the same brand. Swirl the two hues together and dust them onto the apples of your cheeks in a backwards “C” motion for a subtle pop of color.

When it comes to your eyes, you want to strike a balance between natural and bold. A bronze smoky eye is less dramatic than black, and since it pulls from rich autumnal browns and golds, it’s ultra seasonal.

Pull out the BORGHESE Shadow Milano Trio in Titian Taupes, which has three shades that can complement any skin tone. Start by swiping the lightest hue across your entire lid. Then, use a slender brush to blend the medium color into the crease, emphasizing the outer edge to get an ultra alluring look. Dampen a liner brush and dip it into the darkest shade, then glide it along the upper lashline to define your eye. Sweep a layer or two of Youngblood’s Mineral Lengthening Mascara in Mink onto your lashes, focusing the pigment on the center for a doe-eyed effect.

Dabbing a little highlighter on your browbone will brighten your eyes and make this sultry look daytime appropriate.

Pout perfection
The most important thing for your lips is that the color has staying power through multiple courses - and potentially seconds. Consider a striking burgundy lip, which perfectly pairs with a glass of red wine. Start by lining your pout with pencil, then layer on a matte stain for color that will last. Or, if you go high intensity with your eyes, brush on POP Beauty’s Plump Pout lipgloss in Honey Rose, which is long-wearing and universally flattering.
