Do you know what hair 'dos are hot this spring?

If you feel like you’re missing out on some of the hottest hair trends of the season, there’s no better time to brush up on the latest styles than now! Celebrities on the red carpet are doing a fantastic job of giving everyday women a little bit of inspiration.

One of the biggest trends in hair as of late seems to be the pixie cut, according to the Pittsburgh Gazette. Actress Charlize Theron is the latest to sport this ‘do, and it takes a brave woman to go without long, luscious locks! However, you might want to try this style if you’re getting tired of maintaining your hair with specialized shampoos and conditioners.

Another trend that you can consider is curly hair, which is also becoming popular around Hollywood. While some people find curls difficult to keep up, there are many hair styling products on the market today that can combat issues such as frizz.

If you aren’t sure about how curly hair will look on you, Allure magazine recommends opting for layers. This can give you the volume you need to rock some waves regardless of how your ‘do naturally looks on your head!

How to style a short haircut

How to style a short haircutSummer is the season to rock a short hairstyle, but those who rarely cut their locks may not know how to best style their new ‘do. Instead of forgoing this dramatic cut for another season of pulled-back ponytails, chop off some length, as experts explain that styling short hair can be simple, with the right tricks.

Few women can live without a hairdryer, but ladies with bobs may not be using the tool correctly. “Blow-drying short hair from start to finish can make it look puffy,” hairstylist Garren told Allure magazine, adding that hairdryers shouldn’t be used until strands are 90 percent air-dried.

“Hold the blow-dryer above your head and aim the air straight down at the crown to push the hair smooth against your head,” hair expert Chris McMillan suggested to the news source.

When styling chopped locks, women should either part their hair to the side, or rake the longer layers forward. But regardless, a dab of pomade or cream should be used to keep the creation in place.

While often used to secure mens’ strands, Jack Black Sleek Finish Texture Cream is great for gals with a gamine ‘do. The lightweight formula is fragrance-free, and offers long-lasting yet flexible hold while helping to eliminate frizz.ADNFCR-3538-ID-19897688-ADNFCR
