15 Fall Beauty Trends You Need to Try this Season
If you aren’t ready to let go of your multicolored Spring Summer looks just yet, don’t worry – makeup artists have you covered with the same for the rest of the year too. Most of the Fall 2018 runway looks had hues of spring sprinkled all over making the trends not so subdued and more alluring for us, vibrancy enthusiasts.
Red Lips
One thing the runways can’t seem to let go of are red lips – and we aren’t complaining. You see it year after year, season after season. Fall 2018 will be the same. Pick a red of your choice – make it matte, pair it with a gloss, blur it with your fingertips or ombre it out – all is good with the classic red lip.

Liner With A Twist
As mentioned before, there was nothing boring or subdued about fall trends. There were pops of colors everywhere, be it multicolored eyes, use of colored mascaras or graphic bright colored eyeliners. Our personal favorite was the blue cat eye that’s not too out there for an everyday look but still not your boring old black liner look that’s done to death now.
Product Pick of the Season: stila – Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner Cobalt
Shimmer N Sparkle
We have seen glitter rule the runways for quite some time now. In lieu, followed brands launching glitter eye shadows left, right and center. So it’s no wonder we are seeing more sparkle this season. If you are bored with the gold glimmering look from last season, opt for this more scattered, shimmering silver look this season.
Product Pick of the Season: Smolder Cosmetics – Ice Princess Loose Radiant Glitter
Flavors Of Cocoa
Finally a trend somewhat reminding you of Fall colors but not for the faint hearted. If you are up for a dramatic Fall look, this chocolate inspired look is the way to go. You can do it two ways: pair a chocolate brown lip with a brown smoky eyes or experiment the same chocolate brown lips with colored eye looks including some yellows and blues.
Product Pick of the Season: Smashbox – Always On Liquid Lipstick Deep Thoughts
Jewel Eyes
Another traditional Fall appropriate trend – jewel colors for the eyes. Swipe your favorite jewel toned eye shadow all over the lid or mix it up with a little sparkle for a more dramatic eye look like this one to give it a little extra oomph.
Product Pick of the Season: theBalm – Meet Matt(e) Shmaker Eyeshadow Palette
Smoke It Out
There is the regular smoky eye and then there is this absolute glitter packed black eyelid that stole our hearts. You can pick and choose your smoky eye for the season: lightly smoked kajal on the lower lid, full on dramatic 5 colors cut crease smoky eye or this. We pick this for our evenings out this season.
Product Pick of the Season: stila – Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eye Shadow Molten Midnight
Grunge Done Right
Grunge looks rule the Fall season. But we haven’t seen this done anywhere before and we are loving it. Drop the boring old one colored grunge looks for this ombre’d look with two complementary colors like this and be the talk of the party for all the good reasons.

Metallica
If you aren’t wearing it on your lips, wear it on your nails. Pick jewel tones like emerald greens and sapphire blues and simply swipe them on trimmed nails as seen on major runways. Match the colors with your eyes to be truly en vogue.

The Star Of The Show
More like the glow of the show. If you aren’t fan of colored cosmetics or you are feeling too lazy to glam up, all you need to do is put on a blinding highlighter to amp up your look to no end. All you need is clear skin and a gorgeous highlighter and you are runway ready in no time!

I Woke Up Like This
Ofcourse you didn’t. She didn’t either. But that’s the idea behind the look. If red lips and multicolored eye looks intimidate you, opt for this I woke up like this look. Groom your eye brows to imperfection and apply a wet looking clear gloss.

Gilded
There is no Fall runway complete without some gold gild. Sometimes it’s in your face gold glitter chunks all over the lid and sometimes it’s this gorgeous subtle yet noticeable lemon gold look for your eyes. Either ways it’s a trend you can’t miss and a trend almost anyone can rock.
Product Pick of the Season: Jane Iredale – Smooth Affair for Eyes Lemon
Fluttery Lashes
Spider lashes and clumped lashes are so last season. This time round it’s a more serious corporate look with the only focus on lashes. Keep your face bare minimum, focusing entirely on your lashes to make them separated, long and distinguished.
Product Pick of the Season: Smashbox – Super Fan Fanned-Out Mascara Black
Fifty Shades Of Berries
All shades of berries are a standard for autumn, winter seasons. And this year it won’t be any different. We loved this deep berry shade at Cushnie Et Ochs and we are planning to copy it for the rest of the year with similar subtle gold eyes and highlighted cheeks.
Product Pick of the Season: Mellow Cosmetics – Liquid Lip Paint New York
Dipped In Glitter
Probably the easiest yet the most outstanding manicure this season was this glitter dipped look. All you need to do is apply a nude nail color on your nails and paint the tips (like you do for a French manicure) with a glitter nail polish.
Product Pick of the Season: Deborah Lippmann – Happy Birthday Nail Lacquer
The New Nude
It’s not actually nude. Its gray mixed with brown. And it suits all skin tones unlike the actual nudes which are a different neutral for all. Confused? Don’t worry, just pick a gorgeous gray shade for the season and rock it plain and simple. Or maybe with graphic yellow liner?
