First off, you should know that a smokey eye should be worn with neutral makeup everywhere else. If you’re going out at night, you may be able to get away with a bolder lip, but otherwise keep your face understated.

Start out by using a black eyeliner pencil on your bottom and top inner rims, like GloMinerals – gloPrecision Eye Pencil. You can use a bit to line your upper lash line, but you don’t really need to if you already have thick lashes. Next, you’ll need a gray eyeshadow, like BABOR – Eye Shadow in Grey.
