Katy Perry, who is currently burning up the Billboard charts with her summertime anthem California Gurls, recently tweeted a picture of her fierce nails, which were painted hot pink and featured bold black polka dots.

Fellow pop star Shakira is also rocking a two-toned pink manicure. Instead of pairing the bright hue with black, however, the Hips Don’t Lie singer swirled in orange polish, creating a coral-colored paint job perfect for a trip to the beach or a hot night out.
