Winter’s still technically here, but because it’s been such a mild season, many people are already itching for spring. If you can’t wait any longer to lighten up your makeup look, don’t worry. Emmy Rossum has the perfect idea.

Glamour Magazine’s beauty blog pointed out the eyeshadow and lipstick combo that Rossum wore at a pre-Oscars party. It featured a pastel orange shade on her eyes and a bubblegum pink hue on her pout. It sounds like something that would strictly look good on the red carpet, but it could work for anyone.

Just be careful to choose shades that are only as dark as your complexion. BABOR – Eye Shadow in Fever might be a good orange for medium skin tones. For lips, Sothys – Hydra-Glide Lipstick in Camelia would work perfectly.

After the eyeshadow and lipstick have been applied, finish up with two coats of black mascara and a peachy-pink blush on the apples of your cheeks. You’ll be ready to take on the last few weeks of winter.
