If you’ve never tried false eyelashes, now is the time to do it. Flirty lashes are hotter than ever, and perfect for any occasion as long as you don’t go overboard. Whether you put on a whole set or just fill your natural lashes in with a couple of individual fakes, your eyes will look more awake and open and you’ll be reeling in the complements.

It’s easier than you think to apply fake lashes. Some brands, like ModelCo – Flutter Self-Adhesive Eye Lashes, don’t even require glue and you can use them multiple times – perfect for when you want to feel glamorous for a couple of days in a row! If you get a full set or individual lashes, like POP Beauty Dressed Up Lashes, you’ll need a pair of tweezers to easily apply the lashes. Either put the glue directly on your lash line or dip the fake lashes in the glue, then press it firmly to just above your lash line. Hold for about five seconds to make sure they stick.

After they’re applied, curl all of your lashes, being careful not to tug too hard. Use a dark eyeliner to conceal the false lash line, then use your regular eyeshadow. Put mascara on all of your lashes to blend the fake ones in with your own. You’ll be surprised at how awesome they come out!
