How To Fake Chiseled Cheekbones
Not every gal was born with to-die-for cheekbones, but if you want to fake the slimming look for yourself, it’s easy to do with the right products and technique. Here’s how to pull off perfect contouring, according to Allure magazine.
Start out with a shade of powder that works for your skin tone. If you botch this key step, it’ll be obvious what you’re trying to do – and that’s not what you want. Aim for a color that’s only a shade or two lighter than your natural tone. Youngblood – Natural Mineral Foundation should have a shade that suits you.
Use a fluffy, angled brush, like Youngblood – Contour Blush Brush, and swirl it into the powder. Be sure to tap away the excess, then suck in your cheeks and swipe it along the sunken area. Stop about an inch away from the corner of your mouth. Blend it as much as you can so it looks perfectly natural.
As a finishing touch, apply a dab of highlighter on the tops of your cheekbones. This will attract the light and give your cheeks a nice contrast to make them stand out.
