Carly Rae Jepsen, the woman behind that oh-so-catchy song, has a gorgeous pair of blue peepers. Maybe that’s why she chose to show ’em off recently at the 2012 Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, where she rocked a fabulous blue smoky eye with touches of gray and purple. Here’s how to nail the look yourself!

First, grab a navy eyeliner like smashbox – Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner French Navy and line your inner rims as well as all around your eyes, sticking as close to the lash line as possible. Now use a gray eyeshadow with a touch of blue, like you’d find in the BORGHESE – Eclissare Color Chic Collection. Sweep it all across your lids and a bit past your creases, then wing it out slightly at the outer edges.

Make it a bit more interesting with a line of shimmery purple eyeliner along your lower lash line, which will help make your eyes look bigger. Finish up with two coats of black mascara and you’re done! To make sure that your eyes are the focus, stick to a neutral blush and lip gloss combination, like Carly did at the event.
