Must Try Spring Nail Art!
Spring is right around the corner and after a long winter, it is so exciting to see new spring styles and nail art appearing on everyone’s nails! Here are some of the latest spring colors, trends, and nail art that you can expect to see on and off the runway this spring!
Whiteout
Beautiful whites are back this spring and they come in many different shades of white to get your nails noticed. The white nail takes a new look this year with a stripe of gold across the nail that makes it look young, classy, and sophisticated. Anyone can wear white nails and it is a great color to wear during those summer months with a beautiful tan.
Cuticle only style
A unique look this spring is Salley Hanson’s cuticle only look. This look is formed by using a beautiful bold color like a strong teal or blue painted on the entire nail and then removing the paint everywhere but the cuticle area. It gives nails a simple yet colorful approach to wearing polish.
The non-traditional french manicure
This year, nail art can be used with any spring colors by creating the traditional french manicure but using untraditional bold and bright spring colors. For instance, using a light blue on the tips and then a deep, darker electric blue for the bottom of the nail. Two-toned colors look beautiful on a non-traditional french manicure.
Double french-tipped-manicure
Another amazing trend happening this spring is the double french-tipped-manicure. This manicure looks like your basic manicure with the natural white tips and peachy nails. But it does not stop there, the white tips are dipped again in another spring pastel color that compliments the rest of the manicure making it pop. It will look bright and unique, like no other french manicure around. This look is easy to achieve by just adding another shade above the white tip line making this a big hit for spring 2015.
Half moon corals
Bright oranges and soft corals will make an appearance this April. Full painted orange hues similar to Marilyn Monroe’s style will be popular along with half moon corals. Half moon corals are simple to achieve by painting a small crescent shape at the bottom of the nail near your cuticle, leaving the rest bare or a neutral shade. This is a pretty style to wear throughout the spring and summer seasons and looks pretty next to any skin color.
