1. Stock up on the right accessories. While it might seem like an afterthought at times, investing in a good set of applicators and brushes is vital. A good brush set that has everything you need to get maximum control over your beauty products is the key.

2. Coverage is key. To make your blemishes invisible, Bobbie recommends choosing a concealer that’s a shade lighter than the rest of your complexion, then blending it seamlessly into the surrounding area.

3. Bronzer and blush should go underneath a powder foundation. Powder formulas will give you lightweight, even coverage – unlike a liquid – and putting it on after your blush and bronzer will ensure a seamless transition of color.
