Taylor Swift Gets Catty At The Country Music Awards
While she’s renowned for knowing a thing or two about breakups, singer Taylor Swift is also growing in popularity for her makeup choices on the red carpet. Recently, Swift turned heads while posing for photographers at the 48th annual Academy of Country Music Awards.
The star walked down the carpet in a gold gown that trailed behind her as she waved to onlookers. To enhance the drama of her overall appearance, she chose to go with bold black eyeliner around her peepers to create a cat-eye look. Plenty of mascara was used on her lashes to give them volume and length, both of which were noticeable as she smiled for pictures. The gold dress marvelously complemented the blue in her eyes, which were brought out with the use of dark makeup.
You don’t need to be a pop singer to achieve the same appearance! If you’re interested in getting Swift’s cat-eye look, start with a black liquid eyeliner. Begin at the inner corner of your eye, dragging the eyeliner outward toward the edge. Apply less pressure as you create an elongated line past the end of your eye for a more natural look. Repeat on the other eye, and you’re good to go!
