Three Ways To Rock Half-Moon Manicures This Fall
If you’re looking for a cute new manicure idea that’s edgy and cool without being too out-there, the half-moon mani is it. And the best part is that it’s easy to create and you can choose color combinations for any setting, from the office to the club. Here are three ideas to check out this fall.
1. Metallic and black. It’s up to you whether you choose silver, gold, bronze, copper or any other metallic shade of glittery nail lacquer, but mix it with black! Paint your entire nail with two coats of black and let it dry. Afterward, use tape, nail stickers or hole reinforcement labels from your local office supply store to section off the half-moon shape at the top. Paint inside the shape, let dry and finish with top coat.
2. Nude and navy. For a classy look that’s perfect to pair with fall’s darker fashions, try this chic color combo. Instead of painting the nude-colored half moons on top of the navy, you might want to section that area off first, paint the navy, then do the nude in the space leftover.
3. Oxblood and chestnut. These shades are hot this season, so there’s no doubt that your nails will be totally en vogue. Pick up a rich maroon shade and a light brown, then use the brown on the half-moon shaped area. Finish with a shiny top coat and you’re done!
