While many people view Labor Day weekend as a time to bid adieu to beach parties, sandals and warm weather, it also marks the end of summer beauty trends. According to Allure.com, there are a few fads that ladies should retire as the temperatures drop and the leaves start changing.

“I’ve been wearing teal eyeliner all summer. I love the quick flash of color you get from it, but there are so many great green shades for fall. I’ll be moving on to a more forest-y or emerald liner shade,” Amy Keller Laird, beauty director at Allure, told the website.

Women may also want to tone down the color of their nail polish and ditch the fruit-hued lacquers of July for more October-appropriate tones like khaki and stone.

“Every summer I can’t live without bright, vibrant nail polish – I’ve been wearing the same tangerine shade…since Memorial Day,” Sophia Panych, Allure editorial assistant, told the news source. “But [this fall] makes me want to try out the neutral, slate shade on my on nails.”

Girls looking for richer shadows and neutral-colored nail polish can opt for Babor Eye Shadow in Forest, Violet or Grey, and Babor Nail Color in Natural, Cashmere and Mauve.ADNFCR-3538-ID-19936842-ADNFCR
