Wardrobes and makeup hues change with the seasons, and by all means, your fragrances should too! There’s no better time than the warm-weather seasons to break out a whole new palette of fresh, fruity spring and summertime scents.

For some people, nothing denotes spring better than the heady aroma of lilac. These delicious purple blooms can be seen bursting forth everywhere at around this time every year, and decking yourself out in a sweet lilac scent may only further magnify the experience.

According to the Star Tribune, citrus scents in particular are set to be a big ordeal this summer.

“Warmer weather calls for a lighter, fresher fragrance,” the news source reports. “Even if you’re not normally a fan of fruity scents, consider the new citrus cocktails: blood orange, tangerine and grapefruit laced with earthier elements like musk, sandalwood and white moss. The resulting scents are more sophisticated, less syrupy-sweet.”

No matter what your note of preference, looking to your environment for fragrant inspiration is always a winning choice.
