This past week the Beauty Bridge team was lucky enough to undergo product training with Rilastil. Rilastil is an Italian brand that is a household name across Europe. We were all thrilled to learn more about a brand we love using and that is reputable around the globe. Our trainer was extremely well versed on everything Rilastil; we learned everything from the brand’s roots to their upcoming products! Some general Rilastil knowledge – their namesake comes from the company’s commitment to increasing the skin’s elasticity. The brand’s first product was their famous Stretch Marks Cream; this product, and the entire brand, is centered on elasticity concerns.

Rilastil takes its products seriously. With their roots in the pharmaceutical industry, all the products are developed, tested and packaged in state-of-the-art facility. Team member Maggie is “impressed with the amount, duration and quality of the testing they do on their products to ensure that they are completely safe for everybody. It really shows how much they value their customers.”

We began our product training with skincare. As many companies do, Rilastil has many products for different complexions. I, for one, loved the way the products were organized.  Rilastil has a skincare line for every skin type, each with its own name and line description. This makes it so easy for customers to find the product that is right for them. To make things easier, team member Zoukhra compiled a quick reference guide for all the different product lines.

Daily Care: Daily care products such as cleanser, toner and makeup remover types.

Aqua: Designed for those with dehydrated skin.

Micro: To combat the first signs of aging. Ideal for those with the skin of someone in their twenties

Hydrotenseur: For aging that has progressed. Ideal for those with the skin of someone in their thirties.

Progression HD: Ideal for those with advanced signs of aging (deep wrinkles, extreme loss of collagen and elasticity). These signs usually appear after fifty.

A-Lipik: Designed for sensitive, weakened skin. This line doesn’t contain any fragrance.

Deliskin: Designed for skin that has redness and irritation.

Multirepair: For very dry and aged skin.

Of course, we got to play with all of the products! Everything smelled fresh and felt incredibly luxurious on the skin. My personal favorite products were from the Aqua line. They were extremely soothing, and my skin immediately felt nourished. I can’t go without mentioning Rilastil’s Micellar Solution. This makeup remover is a must for every beauty-maven. Our trainer demonstrated this product; she put some lipstick on her hand and entirely removed it with one swipe of the remover! We were all awestruck. Gone are the days of pulling at tugging at the skin to remove all traces of makeup – this product is the biggest time saver.

The company has a makeup line as well. In fact, the Make Up Volume Mascara is one of Rilastil’s bestsellers. It provides intense volume without any clumping or smudging; we were told that it’s a favorite amongst celebrities! Another product we loved was the bronzer (Make Up Color Corrector). We’re always looking to maintain summery glows here at Beauty Bridge; this product gives complexion the perfect glow! Team member Olcay (and bronzer connoisseur) loves how it looks very natural.

We had so much fun with our trainer that we were disappointed when our time came to an end! However, we were lucky enough to get a few samples! It is extremely helpful for us to try the products, since we can now give accurate recommendations to customers. Zoukhra “can certainly suggest the products costumers and give [her] personal feedback. She now will be able to say with confidence that Rilastil Mascara and High Definition Eye Pencil are great quality and stay on without smudging for a very long time.”

All in all, the Beauty Bridge team loved everything about our product training, and is well-equipped to answer any questions you may have!
