Choose Eyeliner Shades That Will Complement Your Eye Color
Sometimes, it can be difficult to select the eye makeup that will best enhance your eye color. Should brown-eyed beauties don cocoa-colored cosmetics, or should they opt for a contrasting silver-toned eyeshadow instead?
Instead of spending hours (and a small fortune) trying out various shades, ladies can listen to celebrity makeup artist Carmindy, who recently shared a bit of inside information with StyleList.com as to which hues will truly make your peepers pop.
“When it comes to enhancing your natural eye color, I really believe that opposites attract,” the beauty expert told the news source. “If your eyes are brown, I like to use a deep sapphire blue, for blue eyes, a nice, rich chocolate brown, for green eyes I like to go with…an amethyst color, and for hazel eyes, green really makes them pop.”
Carmindy recommends applying a colored eyeliner in whichever shade best suits your eyes, and then sweeping a neutral shadow over lids to add a bit of subtle definition.
Borghese Eye Accento Pencil comes in a variety of shades, including plum, green, blue and cocoa, and features a sponge on one end for easy blending.
