Remember back in the early 90s when wet hair used to be in? Girls would scrunch a ton of gel and product into their hair to get wet waves that went pretty well with their harsh-looking makeup. (Dark lip liner, anyone?) Glamour magazine’s beauty blog recently spotted Tyra Banks at the Met Opera in New York City sporting a slightly damp ‘do which crossed over into Don’t territory.

Air-drying your hair is fine, as long as it looks dry eventually – like by the time you get to the office. In fact, it’s probably better for your hair without all those heated tools. Just make sure to use a styling product like Jack Black – Sleek Finish Texture Cream, as air-dryed hair is more prone to frizz.

If you are using a blow dryer to dry your hair, make sure you protect it from damage by using shampoos and conditioners that work with heat to make your hair smoother and healthier. A masque is also a good way to nourish your hair, so use a deep conditioner like L`Occitane – Aromachologie Repairing Mask every couple of days to return your locks to their natural luster.
