Go For A Barely-There Makeup Look
If you’ve been paying attention to all the Fashion Week commotion going on as of late, you may have noticed one super-sophisticated makeup trend sweeping the runways. Many models were sporting a barely-there makeup look, featuring a sheer face, minimal mascara and even nude lips.
Unlike some outlandish runway looks, this is one trend that can translate equally well to the streets.
To start, you’ll want to try to get away with the least amount of face makeup as possible. Apply tinted moisturizer for a sheer, balmy finish and use minimal concealer to cover up flaws. Set with translucent powder to create a matte effect.
As for blush, many models had barely noticeable hues on their cheeks, so stick with a warm color that’s just a shade or two darker than your natural skin tone.
Apply just a couple light swipes of brown or black mascara to your lashes to open up eyes in a way that’s not too obvious. Finish with some sheer gloss on the lips – you may want to apply some concealer to your pout first to get that ultra muted look.
