Kim Kardashian recently moved from Los Angeles to New York City, and makeup artist Troy Surratt swears that Kardashian’s signature style will remain unchanged.

“She’s not going to be a hipster or an uptown or downtown girl,” he told Allure magazine. “Kim’s smart and embraces the power of looking glam – her look is iconic and recognizable.”

Kardashian recently sat in Surratt’s chair, and the makeup artist spilled some secrets about creating her typical sultry stare.

“Kim has a good amount of space between her lash lines and her brows, so she can wear a lot of eye makeup,” Surratt told the news source. He rimmed her upper and lower lash lines with a black eyeliner and smudged a mix of black and brown eyeshadow on her lids, concentrating the color in her crease and by the outer corners of her eyes. He further emphasized her stare by gluing on false lashes and topping them with a coat of mascara.
