Whether you’ve been wearing makeup for years or you are relatively new to the world of cosmetics, many women can agree that beautifying their eyes is one of the trickiest parts of creating a gorgeous look – from shade selection to application, the process can be overwhelming.

Luckily, women who regularly feel as though they are in over their heads when it comes to eye makeup may soon have a savior. According to StyleList.com, Jane Iredale is launching a new line of mineral eyeshadow, Jane Iredale Eye Steppes, designed to make the process easier.

“The most common problem is applying too much, so that attention is drawn to the makeup and not the eyes,” said Jane Iredale at the product’s launch party at the Soho Grand Hotel in New York City.

These new products are formulated to complement specific eye colors, and will include one all-over lid shade and two shadows for day and for evening. The news source reports that the line follows an oft-used principle – enhance your eyes by using shades that are opposite your iris’ hue on the color wheel.
