There’s nothing worse than waking up the morning after a night out to discover that there’s still a ton of makeup on your face. Despite your best efforts to scrub it off, some products are nearly impossible to remove without a special technique. Here a few tips to keep in mind next time you’re trying to get off difficult makeup, courtesy of Allure magazine.
1. Glitter. Even though it looks cool, sparkles can spread to places you never meant for them to go. Even a few days after you wear it, you’re likely to find pieces in your hair or on a random part of your body. Use a small piece of scotch tape rolled around your finger to dab at your skin.
2. Waterproof mascara. While it’s nice to know your lashes won’t smudge with a waterproof formula, it’s not great to realize that your regular makeup remover won’t completely get rid of it. Use Too Faced – Lash Injection Antidote for any stubborn products.
3. Eyelash glue. Fake lashes are fun and an easy way to update your look, but the glue can leave a total mess behind once you take them off. You want something that’s gentle, since it’ll be close to your lash line. Bioelements – Makeup Dissolver will get rid of the problem and leave your lids completely nourished.
