Now that the 2013 Met Gala has come to an end, fashionistas everywhere are starting to pick out styles that they think will become booming trends in the coming season. Brad Goreski for E! News recently went over what he loved at the gala, as well as what he thinks will be seen more often in the next few months.

It seems that cut-out dresses are here to stay, as seen on celebrities such as Jessica Alba at the event. Whether you have a cut-out T-shirt or dress that you want to flaunt, summer will be the perfect time to do so. The smoky eye also appears to be making a return – more women were spotted with this dramatic look on the red carpet. Give it one more season before you ditch your dark mascara and eyeshadow for something brighter!

Finally, beautiful manicures also seemed to be a trend at the gala. Think studs and neon nail polish for summer! Not sure how to take advantage of this style? Harper’s Bazaar magazine claims that it’s as easy as wearing a little glitter on your fingers or opting for contrasting colors.
